It's the active work a person does to balance their chronic disease health and their ability to do what they chose with their lives. It is almost never picture-perfect, but its so worth it, I cannot tell you how thankful I am to share my "living beyond disease" with you!

May is my favorite month because there is so much to celebrate! Starting up the garden again, my favorite blooming flowers, warmer weather becoming more consistent, my little girl's birthday, Mother's Day, and my own birthday! I thought there couldn't be a better month to do this in!

Happy Mother's Day, it's my first π©·
I thought we were going to miss it this year as an induction was planned this coming week, but girly had other plans and made her way into the world without any help (and faster than I expected)! It was the most wild and unexpected experience and I can't wait to share it.
We are home, we are learning, and we are adjusting to our new life. Guys - she is just perfect. Zak is incredible. I can't believe we are here. I can't believe my body grew this beauty!! Talk soon :)
