"The Warlord of the West"
A piece for the main antagonist, Krieger. An unrelenting Emperor hell-bent on conquering and finding a worthy opponent.
Using various European and Nordic woodwinds and strings clashing against a pipe organ, I wanted to illustrate Krieger's desire to conquer Viking lands through the music. The chromatic mediants and dissonance represents his plotting, violent, and aggressive nature.

"Family"
This track represents the main character and his relationship with his family through the story, and functions as the main theme.
I took inspiration from John Williams' family theme from Harry Potter, the shire music from Lord of the Rings, the opening of Brother Bear and some Japanese harmonies and instruments to characterize the bittersweet feeling between himself and those closest to him.
