So I intended to do some gaming videos this past week. I managed to get one recorded but audio got contaminated by my squeaky ceiling fan and turning it off makes it excruciatingly difficult to sit and record in the summer time. Secondly, I have also accidentally hurt the back of my throat some how and it hurts when I talk for long periods of time so you will have to wait a bit longer until the gaming videos are ready, I deeply apologize
What are some ship themed games I should play on the channel? I know I hosted a poll like this before but I really want to try boosting activity here while also taking a break from floating sandbox videos... some might also be going to streaming but idk. You decide! (PS i'm not quitting floating sandbox I just want to make more ship game videos that are not floating sandbox even though fs content will still be a thing but whenever I feel like it :p)
Hello everyone long time no see. Apologies for the silence outside of the FS discord. A lot has been going on and I have not been able to put out any info on here but here is a basic summary. It's been several months since Hurricane Helene destroyed our back yard so I have been spending a lot of time cleaning up, repairing, hauling supplies, and painting so that's been taking up most of my free time as of late. Another reason is I got a new PC a couple months ago but my editing software got corrupt and lost a bunch of important effects when I transferred hard drives so normal content is on hiatus until I can find a new editing software and learn how to use it and be back to making videos. My third and final reason has also to do with making assets for Floating Sandbox it's self with Gabriele and a few others. (hint the game will be playable in your hands ;) ) But I have also been working on stuff like sprites and still been working on the official floating sandbox White Star Line pack.
That's pretty much everything you guys need to know. I hope I can get content back up and running soon. will still be able to do brief beta showcases but the usual content is gonna take some time to come back.
Another update: Floating Sandbox videos are on a bit of a hiatus for now. 1.19 is closer towards completion but we have not yet got it implemented in the game for reveal. No release date has yet been planned. Other news I do apologize for no content this year as I have my arms wrapped up in a bunch of family related situations including my social life. It's been chaotic but hopefully it will all blow down later this summer. As of now I am currently in the process of rebuilding my bedroom/office and it is currently not the most comfortable working environment which also is why no new vids have came out. I hope you guys understand. I am not dead and the channel isn't dead, but I am looking forward to doing other types of content in the future!
Life/Channel Update So those who watch my stuff may have noticed that content has slowed down and that progress updates on Floating Sandbox has been slow. Just wanted to put out and say that the next update is still being worked on but besides that my life has sorta stopped at a bit of a dead end, searching for a real job has not been easy and I got family members ditching at last minute when they offer to help so I'm sorta stuck so that's all I'll say in regards to personal stuff. As for the youtube channel I still want to continue making videos but right now I'm dealing with a bit of burn out in regards of what videos I want to make. Floating Sandbox content will still be a thing on the channel but for the time being i'm taking a bit of a break with a video every now and then until I feel the time is right. I am not quitting youtube, I just need time to myself to think on how to progress... In other news while the youtube channel may be quiet I have still been working on the official White Star Line pack for the FS website and almost done with modeling a majority of the White Star fleet along with updating a few of the models from the original ship-pack. At the time of me writing this, RMS Majestic is the newest ship completed for the White Star Line pack. Oh also we reached over 6k subscribers, that still boggles my mind and I feel bad for being a "slow" or "lazy content creator for the slow output of content ; - ; But thanks to those who still continue to watch just because they don't have much to do lol I hope to put out one or two more vids soon.
