So I finally finished watching episode 1 and 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game. And I have a lot of thoughts about it. Sometimes it amazes me what upsets people nowadays. But regardless of everything, I’m all for any good game to play. Dispatch was a fantastic game. So was Hollow Knight: Silksong and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. But I’m happy that Expedition 33 took home the Game of the Year trophy, and I would feel the same about any good game I see. It doesn’t matter who it is. I am pro-consumer not pro-company. And no matter who takes the trophy home, everyone is valid to have their own personal game of the year. We can all support the games we love without giving ourselves and others grief. Anyways, let’s have a discussion. I have a lot of thoughts on this. :)

So the game award nominations have been revealed for 2025. I’m not surprised that Expedition 33 was in the running haha. It was a great game. I did notice there were mixed reactions to this, one side with valid reasons, and another side that takes it to the extreme to claim “Gaming is Dead”. So I thought, we could have a discussion on the discourse and my thoughts on the gaming industry.
