So if you've come across my channel, there's a significant chance you did so thanks to my upload of the Deltarune song "Find Her".
Well, you might notice that it's gone now.
My channel has been copyright struck by the notorious bloodthirsty publisher Materia Collective, who are handling the Deltarune soundtrack, and you've most likely heard of them exactly for these kinds of reasons.
Any quick look online is going to show you a history of them railing against the community and attacking any song upload that breathes, even if it takes down entire channels and their long legacies.

Of course, the outrageous part of my case is additionally the fact that this song has been around for 3 years, thanks to Spamton Sweepstakes, before we had to deal with Materia the way we do now, and additionally, Find Her is still not part of any official soundtrack, meaning you can't even buy it.
And it looks like they know, because if you look at the image here, it seems what they struck me for was actually the Lost Girl melody, which is even more upsetting that they can just do that.
I've had to deal with stuff like this before too, but those were at least claims.
STRIKES are the ones that can DELETE YOUR CHANNEL!

There has been more and more of a shift lately where bootlickers are trying to defend poor Materia Collective and blaming it all on the YouTube copyright system for automatically flagging things and being so easily abused.
And while bad faith actors will clearly abuse it, Materia themselves are also very fond of doing so, I, personally, have only ever had issues with Materia themselves.
Because even if some rando decides to claim a video of mine that's already using a cover anyway, I can't get rid of those claims because Materia will always review it and refuse to lift it, despite being completely on the right... well, unless you start getting their attention on social media, then suddenly they're very willing to help you before you make any more trouble.

They're the real villains here, and call anyone out who tries to play defense for them, so that this narrative that tries to absolve them doesn't spread any further.
Any look at their YouTube FAQ makes it obvious that they're not any less draconian than your average music publisher, completely spitting on everything that Toby Fox wanted his soundtrack to be used for.
If you yourself or someone you know have uploaded any Deltarune/Undertale songs in full or at least play significant chunks of them, please stay on the safe side and remove them, unless you want your channel to be put in danger.
Getting remixes, covers and let's plays claimed is already awful for the careers of so many people due to monetization, but strikes are truly a different kind of evil, and they're pulling out all the stops now to get them, even if it's for song melodies inside tracks that have not been officially released yet.
Materia is on the warpath and it doesn't look like they ever intend on stopping.

However, I still haven't come down from the Deltarune chapter 3+4 hype and it still lives on in my head for every waking minute.
Too busy analyzing everything I can about it, before I can actually back to posting more videos, but next month will definitely be it!
