I am a lover of art and of creating beautiful things. The process (or journey) is as important as the eventual outcome. I have been a long time quilter (or rather quilt top maker), and have evolved into mixed media art where I love to combine textures and various art mediums...fabrics, papers, embellishments, paints, metals, fibers, etc. I especially love to combine fabrics, lace and papers together for journals and collages! I will show you what I love to do, and hopefully you will get ideas that will help inspire you to create your own masterpieces! Hello my dear, dear friends!! How I miss chatting with you often! I am still alive and kicking, trying to build back energy so I can create and chat with ya'll!! Laying down imagining me visiting with you is easier than to actually create and chat!! Lol! Hubby has been amazing through all of this turmoil. I am learning to be more patient with myself and others.

Good morning my amazing friends, new and old!! Just a quick note to let you know that I am still here. The much anticipated medicine didn't work well for me. I've been down and out since. Please don't worry about me as I am getting better...it's just taking some time to get my energy level up. I hope that you will take this opportunity to view some of my older videos and know I will be back just as soon as I can!
You guys are the best and I think of you everyday! To say I'm frustrated would be such an understatement! But I am trying to be good and rest and gain back my strength...btw...I've been watching episodes of "This is Us" ! Talk about sad, funny, heartfelt...I love you crazy, wonderful people!!! You help me be a better person!

Happy Thanksgiving my dear friends!! I wanted to update you on what's been happening with me recently and explain why I haven't produced a video for a bit.
3 Saturdays ago, I experienced a new pain in my left buttox area that was new to me which laid me low....long story shortened, I now have a non displaced fracture in my left hip ball area in the bone, created by the cancer.
Soo...I am once again having radiation therapy for a few weeks. Why? Supposedly the radiation will kill a majority of the cancer cells, which will help with the pain and allow my fracture to heal...it'll take about 3 months to heal.
I must admit I had a few low days where I cried alot and felt depressed. My sweet hubby gave me a priesthood blessing of comfort and I felt the Lord's presence and since then, I've been feeling really positive again! Yahoo!!
I have still been able to get in my studio a little and I have some fun stuff to share with ya'all. We have family visiting spending good memory time right now, but I will be back soon and I will also be listing more goodies in my Etsy Shop! Whew!!
I love you guys and think of you everyday and pray for you!!

Hello my amazing Subs!!! The cancer meds have been making me more tired this past week and I haven't been able to make videos...so sorry!! I will rest this weekend and hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'll be able to create a video!
