Jesus was rejected by His own. He healed people who walked away. He taught crowds who misunderstood Him. One disciple betrayed Him, another denied Him, and the rest scattered.
Yet His eyes never stayed on people. Again and again, He withdrew to pray. Again and again, He looked beyond the pain of the moment toward the Father's purpose.
People will always disappoint you — not because they are evil, but because they are human. If your peace depends on people responding correctly, you will live disappointed.
But when you lift your eyes to Christ, peace begins to return. The problem may remain. The prayer may still be unanswered. Yet your confidence was never meant to rest in people.
So when you feel misunderstood, look to Him. When you feel forgotten, look to Him.
Keep your eyes fixed on Him. 🙏
