Many of you suggested that my classic Citizen Aqualand needed a battery so she could run again. I'm happy to report that after buying a new $2 battery (and an $80 tool to remove the caseback!) she is running again. The funny thing is that when you install a new battery, the date reverts back to the year it was built: 1994. I was not sure it would even go to 2025! (It did). By the way, the battery that was in it from 30 years ago was a Maxell. It had NOT leaked. So I give Maxell watch batteries two thumbs up!

Hi Everyone! I know it has been a while since we posted any Blue World content. There are several reasons for this, but it's mostly because of a personnel shortage and a very big project we are finishing. As many of you know, we are releasing a new IMAX® film on Valentine's Day (Feb 14, 2025) about Dolphins. We have been working on it for nearly two years. It's a huge time and financial commitment to produce one of these films. Also, we lost our full time editor, so I'm a one person staff right now. My priority is getting the IMAX film finished. The film is "picture locked" and we just recorded the orchestra in Prague two weeks ago. Yesterday we recorded the choir, which was the final piece for Zimmy's tremendous score. The 3D conversion is underway. All of the deliverables are due to IMAX by early January to make our release date. Once this film is put to bed, we will catch up with some new Blue World episodes. We have a bunch of stuff shot, just need to find time to edit it. Thanks for your patience! HELLO Blue Crue! We are launching a new series of videos this Saturday called YOU COMPLAIN, WE EXPLAIN. I will be answering comments that come up frequently...things like "Why do you pronounce it that way?" or "Doesn't feeding sharks make them attack people?" We have noticed that we get a lot of similar comments, and it would be interesting to address them in a series of VLOGs. So get ready for some VLOGGING from the Blue World headquarters!
