I just got a copyright strike (yes, strike, not claim) over a 2 year old Pink cover (Fuckin' Perfect with Solaria), where Sony Music was apparently perfectly fine taking all the revenue before, until they suddenly weren't anymore. I make no money from these videos and all revenue is taken by the appropriate owners, so this sudden change for a 2 years old video is a bit baffling. Out of an abundance of caution, I've decided to delete two more Pink covers (U + Ur Hand with Solaria and What About Us with Weina), since I'd rather not get more copyright strikes. It sucks because I really liked those covers, but it is what it is. I think the Pink covers were the only videos with covers from Sony Music tracks, but I might've missed some more. If my channel suddenly gets deleted, follow me on social media I suppose? I'm not big on social media stuff, but hey, if it's the only way I'll be able to share covers I'll take it :P
If you haven't seen my latest video yet, I covered Postmodern Jukebox's arrangement of "Lovefool" using SynthV's SOLARIA! And if you already saw the video before, I've just added both an edited and unedited SVP file for SynthV, in case you want to see how it was tuned/what it sounds like untuned. 90% of the tuning is thanks to HPsynthV's "Real Voice" plugin, so give it a try if you want to imitate a real singer's performance :)
