Hello, everyone! September is here and it is time for a new schedule. Here is what I have planned for this month:

09/05/2025: Rio Grande K-36 Steam Locomotives
09/12/2025: Trains in 2005
09/19/2025: Sounder Commuter Train 25th Anniversary Special
09/26/2025: Two Santa Fe Locomotives on a BNSF Freight Train

In addition to these regular uploads, I plan on once again posting a short form video every Tuesday at 3 PM Pacific Time. As always, schedule is subject to change, pending completion of other videos. Thanks and I'll see you tomorrow to celebrate 100 years of the Rio Grande K-36 steam locomotives!

Hello, everyone! Due to some potential schedule changes to September's upload schedule, I've had to rework some of the videos for the rest of the month of August. I am still deciding which video to post next week, but here is the updated schedule for the rest of the month:

08/22/2025: MBTA Commuter Trains *OR* Two Santa Fe Locomotives on a BNSF Freight Train
08/29/2025: Amtrak Capitol Corridor Trains 2025

Hello, everyone! I have been working on putting the finishing touches on tomorrow's video, so here is your slightly delayed video schedule for the month of August:

New for this month, I will be posting video "Shorts" (found under the shorts tab of the channel page) every Tuesday at 3 PM Pacific Time in addition to the normal upload schedule. For now, these will be individual clips of trains, but I'd eventually like to post videos that are not long enough for the normal Friday uploads, such as interesting individual train facts, rail equipment histories, and more. If you have any thoughts on Shorts, please let me know in the comments section of this post. I'll see you soon for a look at steam locomotive 16 on the East Broad Top Railroad!

Hello, everyone! July is here and it is time for a new schedule. I have a lot of new videos I am currently editing from my trips this spring and summer, but here is what I have planned so far:

07/04/2025: Amtrak Acela Express Fast Trains 2025
07/11/2025: BNSF Special Passenger Train
07/18/2025: 3 Car Pacific Surfliner Trains
07/25/2025: Amtrak Cascades Talgo Series 8

As previously mentioned, I have several videos currently in progress, so expect the schedule to be changed for the second and third weeks this month. That's everything for now. See you this Friday for another look at Amtrak's Acela Express trains!

COASTER 2105 SCHEDULE UPDATE:

Hey, everyone! The museum has officially expanded operations for Coaster 2105 to both Saturday and Sunday next weekend! This includes at least three additional cab ride times on Sunday (all Saturday spots have sold out)! That's it for now. I'll see you next weekend on July 5th and 6th for Coaster 2105's debut at the SoCal Railway Museum!

COASTER 2105 ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello, everyone! I am happy to announce that Coaster locomotive 2105 will be making its debut on the Southern California Railway Museum's weekend excursion trains on July 5th! While the locomotive is currently unable to move under its own power, museum volunteers have worked hard over the last month to get the 2105 functional as a control unit. It is now able to lead trains while another one of the museum's locomotives provides the power. Santa Fe 5704 will also be out in the sunshine that weekend for display.
