Koi kaam chhota Nahin hota! Even as a young boy, coming from a very simple middle class background, I've never shied away from working - and selling has always been my superpower! From milk to books to firecrackers, I think I always had that instinct of an entrepreneur when it came to business!

And when it came to taking on the responsibility of my family after losing my dad at a very young age, I think those skills came in handy. As I grew older, I got an opportunity to work in Kuwait and I thought it was a good break, and though the Gulf war put a full stop to my career there, it did not stop me from dreaming big or pursuing bigger goals in life!

With that in 1993 I took my big leap of faith and started Danube Building Materials in Dubai. And there's been no looking back since then. What started as a modest venture has today transformed into a billion dollar conglomerate with presence across countries.

From Mumbai's streets to Dubai's skyline, the journey has been one big adventure and as I look back at the humble beginnings from where I started, every challenge faced has been a lesson and every obstacle I overcame an experience that helped me grow this Danube Empire.

With the blessings of the Almighty, the love of my family and the trust of my customers, the journey forward is only going to get bigger!
