UK Artist and teeny Etsy seller. Hey there, my name is Laura. This channel used to be called Loose Screws Crafts, and has been changed to Loose Sculls Crafts to reflect my Etsy shop name change, too. The entire handle was Jar Of Loose Skulls.
This is a dedicated channel to mixed media and other crafty experiments including resin. I love trying new things, thus there'll probably be mistakes and learning here - it's all part of the fun.
I love gothic, steampunk, spooky/horror/Halloween/witchy and dark themes, but of course I'll try any style as long as it's fun.
I'm originally a freelance artist/illustrator and storyboarder from the UK.

I've been very busy again, but a lot of time has been put into some new Etsy items. I thought up this a couple of months ago and only listed it about 2 weeks back. Someone left a lovely review today, I love making people laugh or smile.
I'm really hoping to start an Etsy journey/small business series on this channel, just documenting my experiences as a teeny seller and how things have failed and worked for me. I won't ever stop making fun resin and mixed media items, but I hope that this series will help both me and anyone watching. It's relatable and somewhat comforting to know other creators are in the same place, and that place for me is struggling to make a small shop successful.
That aside, I have some resin videos filmed already, just need to edit them. Hope everyone's doing alright : )

I made these quite a while ago, I’ve since given a few to friends but I still have these ones left. I used the small coaster mould, as, truthfully, I find it too small for a comfortable coaster - but it works well for making hanging ornaments. And of course, gotta add those sentiments.
What do you think?
The only reason I don’t have more is I hate weeding tiny letters. So fiddly.

I'm so sorry for being absent for so long, my freelance work has had me extremely busy.
I'm hoping to make a small comeback very soon - I still have to announce the overly belated winner of my long ago giveaway lol - AND the second half of my Bee Bee Craft review. They've been very patient with me.

I've finally been accepted into the Youtube partnership program, my watch hours finally returned/updated (bit by slow bit lol). Not there yet for ad revenue, but I'm honestly so thankful to have reached the first milestone, I did not expect to come this far.
Thank you all so much.
I have just one membership tier to offer atm called the Tip Jar, but I'd love to offer exciting and valuable perks eventually, especially such things as the project files like the recent Valentines hearts one (if you haven't nabbed it yet please do!). But I will still keep offering certain future files for free.
Any suggestions for perks and membership content are always welcome, I don't expect anything from anyone of course, but Youtube recommends we announce our membership options so I'm doing just that! And just reaching this point is a feat for me, so I'm incredibly grateful to you all.

Some resin ornaments I experimented with mid/late 2023. Using the 8cm coaster mould. I was trying more positively phrases back then too! But… I hated the vinyl weeding so much, the tiny letters were a PAIN.
Still, I really love the results ✨
This is why I asked for positive phrases in a community post a while back, would love to try something like this in deeper or bigger moulds. Thank you to everyone who commented in that post.

Hey all, question to other youtubers: Have you ever had your public watch hours gone DOWN suddenly, and did they come back? Like a Youtube glitch?
I was just under the 3000 public watch hours mark earlier today, 3000 is a milestone I've been trying to reach since they implemented the new stretch goal, it'd be a HUGE achievement for me and I was ALMOST there. But only an hour ago I saw that it had gone down by 700 hours. I can't tell you the disappointment, I really hope this is a glitch.
I'm still within the 365 days time frame, my first video didn't go up until the 25th Feb, so I'm really puzzled why my public watch hours on the YT Studio has dropped by such a large amount. The YT Studio still recognises that I have nearly 3000 watch hours in analytics, but no longer in my 'earn' tab.
Has anyone experienced this before?
