Chris, Jovi and Allura are all retiring from the Sonic Rumble Community Team.
While I wish them the best in their careers, I think this is a sign that rumble is NOT doing well 😭
- …Who were they?
Chris was one of the main CMs who communicated with the players in the Sonic Rumble discord and, as far as we are aware, is the CM that is in charge of the Rumble social media at this point in time.
Jovi was the Creator Manager for Rumble’s Creator Program.
I’ll be completely honest, we as a community rarely interacted with Allura so I can’t really say who they are 😭
- Who’s taking their place?
According to Chris, the Japanese team will be fully in charge of the game from this point onward, and 3 staff members from the Japan team will be taking their places.
- Why does this matter?
Nef has stressed multiple times at this point that they were not fired, but something worth keeping in mind is that LAYOFFS are NOT the same thing as being fired. (See image 4)
While I don’t know exactly what happened, the fact that Chris has mentioned that the JP team exclusively is going to be running the game going forward makes me think this was a silent layoff. I’m not sure how to feel about this since this COULD mean that Rumble is genuinely just not doing well. I hope I’m wrong, I really do, but I’m not positive about the game lasting through 2026…
Again, though, I wish Chris, Jovi and Allura the best in their future careers. Hope to still see you all around in the community going forward 🫡

Should I make more Brawl Stars content again? For the record, I won't stop making Sonic Rumble content, but seeing the game's current state makes me think that continuing to post PURELY Sonic Rumble is NOT a good idea. If I do make more Brawl Stars content again, the only thing that'll really change is that my content will also have Brawl Stars videos and livestream segments mixed in with Sonic Rumble.

As someone who really enjoys Sonic Rumble, it’s genuinely disappointing to see how garbage things are with the state of the game. As such, I wanted to compile my genuine thoughts on the game into one video in the hopes that a ‪@sonic_rumble_party‬ developer will see the video and make some MUCH NEEDED changes to the game. I don’t ask for this much, but PLEASE share the video with others since there’s no telling if the algorithm gods will have mercy on me. That said, hope you all have an amazing 2026 and I’ll be back to streaming soon ✌️

I really wanted to get my full review out before the end of 2025, but things came up and I think this’ll have to be posted on 1/1. Sorry for the delay but I promise this’ll be worth it.
I want this to be actually good so there’s a chance Rovio sees this video and improves upon a game I genuinely enjoy, which is why I’m putting so much effort into this video.
That said, I will see you guys in 2026, providing Rovio starts changing up the game itself (eg. fix skin prices), with more Rumble videos and livestreams. Thank you all for the support in 2025 🙏

So... it's been a few weeks.
I haven't really posted much on this channel since VidCon, and as much as I really wanted to grind during Summer Vacation, I just can't find any motivation to do so. I was originally going to post an honest thoughts video about #SquadXSonic...but I couldn't even complete a full take of just one part of the video, and I'll be honest, this is one of the first times I'm loathing needing to edit a video.
If I really had to pin the situation on something, I would assume this is a really rough patch of burnout, and it's honestly just a lack of content in most of the games I play. While yes, I still have a LOT of Sonic Games to play, I can't see any way to make a gameplay video that's unique compared to the millions of other Shadow Generations or Superstars gameplay. That said, if you guys have any ideas what I should do for a video, please let me know. If it does pique my interest, hopefully I can at least put out something in the meantime. Other than that, though, I'll be trying to stream again, maybe this weekend, and with all that being said, take care, everyone. :)
