At long last… THE CH. 42 HALLOWEEN SPECIAL IS ALMOST HERE!

Every paid Patreon member will be thanked by name at the start of the video. There’s also a skit midway through featuring all paid member names as of Oct. 11, 2026.

If you joined after that date, your name will still appear in the opening! The skit was already edited and aged by then, so it won’t include those newer names. You’re just as appreciated, and I’m grateful to have you here.

A couple of friends and I have written, filmed, and edited 14 skits for CH. 42 News, totaling 19 minutes of news from the world of Blackridge.

Blackridge’s lore is expanding this Halloween.. and we’ll be asking the important questions: What is the Waskajoola, and how does the community appease it?

I’ve also made new commercials for Parker’s Supermarket and a fresh batch of community notices.

There are new animated shorts featuring the Samsams, the Crublins, and Jiminy Pumpkin, each bringing a different style and tone to the broadcast.

You will meet a new animated host, The Night Watcher, who will guide you through a selection of spooky horror shorts while mocking you every step of the way.

I’ve gathered nearly two hours of Halloween commercials, and I’m currently cleaning up the audio and adjusting the contrast and saturation where needed. As always, I’m working to make everything feel balanced while keeping that old-TV atmosphere intact.

We’ll also have Halloween TV shows, movies, and shorts, with the Nightwatcher presenting the shorts. And Pukey Pete will finally reveal the fan art you’ve sent in over the last few months!

Thank you for helping me keep CH. 42 going and giving me the time to make things like this. Every membership, piece of fan art, and encouraging comment means a lot. I have put a lot of work into this special, and I’m excited to share Halloween in Blackridge with you.

A special thanks goes to Sam and Matt for helping me create CH. 42 NEWS, and I am looking forward to making more NEWS skits for CH. 42.

A year ago I had 2k subs.. I still do not know how to process this, but I will say this is awesome. Thank you.

I am very thankful to make things a select crowd truly seems to get and enjoy fully.

As for what is next, The Halloween special is has a projected release date, but I just want to be sure before I announce it. So much has gone into the special and I hope you all dig it.

Let's break 50k subs before the year ends!

Half a year ago, I couldn’t have imagined where this channel would be today. I’m very thankful for the overwhelming support, views, and comments CH. 42 receives.

I’m also glad you’re here.

You’re the lucky ones who will experience Halloween television like it used to be, right here on CH. 42. I know the wait feels unending, but it will be worth it.

If you’d like to support what I’m making, please consider joining the Patreon. CH. 42 isn’t monetized on YouTube, so your support helps me keep it going.

Thank you for being part of this crazy journey.

Grab your Necronomicon and praise the Waskajoola with the CH. 42 news team this Halloween!

Jiff Skippins leads the charge, with Pill Pendleton on weather (sometimes) and Skutch Ruder on the streets (sometimes).

Blackridge’s only hope: three men who laugh in the face of danger.. and occasionally read the news.

The CH. 42 Halloween special includes my animated short "The Samsams" where Beef Samsam comes home only to find a true tragedy has taken place.

This Halloween special involves a lot more than assembling a spooky broadcast. You may notice a slight slowdown in new CH. 42 uploads while I work on it, but I promise it will be worth the wait.

That extra time is going toward new animated shorts, fake commercials, overdubbed ads, hidden Crublins appearances, green-screen segments for CH. 42 News, and a brand-new animated host. I’ll also be digging up Halloween shows and movies to complete the lineup.

There are some unusual safety concerns developing around Blackridge this Halloween, so please remain calm and continue watching CH. 42 for important updates.

If you enjoy CH. 42 and want to help make productions like this possible, please consider supporting Horrible Home Video on Patreon. Your support helps fund the props, wigs, makeup, animation, and other materials needed to create more original content for the channel.

Thank you to everyone watching, sharing, and supporting CH. 42. You’re helping me make these strange little broadcasts bigger, better, and more original.

I will be going live tonight around 7pm central time, drawing backgrounds and doing animated rig building/drawing. Come say hello and hang out while I draw IDIOTS IN SPACE.

CH. 42 will be back later this month, I am currently creating Halloween content to make a super Halloween special. I will also discuss this during the live.

Hope to see you there.
