Produced through an analog workflow, the album embodies Yellow House’s commitment to grappling with expansive topics in a sincere manner.

Seeing the first vinyl pressing of A Carnival of Fears had me feeling incredibly nostalgic, so I tracked down this old photo of me making the record in my bedroom studio.
Fresh from shoulder surgery, and "armed" with a single SM58, a couple of Casio keyboards I got from marketplace for $20 a piece, and a broken pair of headphones I had to keep in place using my beanie. The whole scene held together by the old tool cabinet that served as my desk.
Thinking back, I think the limited gear and and being confined to one arm really shaped the way the record came out. It forced me to be minimalistic with my approach and not overthink anything. I also blame the post-op pain pills for the insane amounts of reverb I used.
In short. Thank you to everyone for the support over the years. You've helped me graduate to two microphones and keep an endless supply of verby tunes flowing.

Introducing "Bootleg Series - 1." Inspired by the spirit of classic, illicit bootlegs, this EP unveils rare and hidden gems—radically new, reinterpreted versions of Yellow House songs. Just as bootlegs of old smuggled raw and authentic cuts to audiences, these tracks capture Yellow House in a fresh and unfiltered way.
For the first edition, I'll be sharing folk/country versions of "Trouble Always Finds Me" and "Leave the City," swapping the original 808 and synth-laden versions for Gibson acoustics and tape machines. Experience the songs anew with a raw and intimate twist.
