Earlier this year, the Trump Administration signed an executive order to remove federal funding from PBS and NPR. Earlier, the U.S. Senate voted to remove funding for the public media corporation, which will move to the House for a possible approval.
Barney is no longer on PBS, but his influence and legacy remains with the network.
This is our LAST CHANCE to save public media. Many disenfranchised families will suffer if funding is removed, as well as the wonderful productions PBS and NPR help bring to life.
