Driftwood Motoring is a dad-and-son automotive channel from Vancouver Island, built around real-world ownership, blunt opinions, old trucks, car-lot wandering, small repairs, and whatever vehicle has us talking that week.

I’ve spent more than 20 years in and around the automotive industry, so expect practical takes on reliability, maintenance, value, car payments, and the real cost of keeping vehicles long term—without pretending every answer comes from a textbook.

Our 2003 GMC Yukon Denali is currently at the centre of the channel, but this isn’t a one-truck page. We’re into older vehicles, dependable SUVs, daily drivers, interesting builds, and anything worth arguing about.
