FilmSwitch has been on hiatus since August 2021 following the death of co-founder Chris Vill. FilmSwitch was rebranded to FocusPull in early 2021, but will return as FILMSWITCH. In early 2017, FilmSwitch was a simple note at the end of an already cluttered notebook of ideas crumbling in the pocket of Chris Vill. After a year of being too afraid to start the channel, Chris took a leap and made a, in his own words, "shitty short video just to start" which led to the creation of a hub of every idea and inspiration he and I could write on paper and put to video. Chris will always be FilmSwitch and FilmSwitch will always be him. Thank you to all who came when we were just "shitty short videos" made "just to start". "Love is all, that's all." -Chris V.
