@TheOrielles have announced their 4th studio album, ‘Only You Left‘, a meticulous yet exploratory record which sees them emerge anew from their 7-year cycle where they began with Silver Dollar Moment (2018).
Recorded between Hamburg and the car-free Greek Island of Hydra, and produced by long-time collaborator, Joel Anthony Patchett, the album builds on the experimentation of Tableau (2022) but all the while finding a home in the familiar.
Released on Friday 13th March 2026, the Manchester based 3-piece consisting of Esmé Dee Hand-Halford (bass & vocals), Sidonie Dee Hand-Halford (drums & vocals) and Henry Carlyle Wade (guitar & vocals), have today also shared ‘Three Halves’ the first single to be taken from the album.
Urgent in places and dreamlike in others, ‘Three Halves’ was so-baptised when Henry stitched three recordings together on Ableton and needed a working title. What began as a temporary placeholder soon became a theme for Esmé to riff on, a metaphor for the trio and their shared connection.
Writer and poet Joshua Idehen announces details of his debut Heavenly album ‘I Know You’re Hurting, Everyone Is Hurting, Everyone Is Trying, You Have Got To Try.’ Made with his creative partner, musician Ludvig Parment, the album will be released on Friday 6th March 2026.
Following his appearance this weekend on Later…with Jools Holland, British-born, Stockholm-based Nigerian Idehen, has today also shared ‘It Always Was’ the first track to be taken from the album. As heard on Lauren Lavern’s BBC6 Music show this morning.
After nearly two decades in London’s poetry scene, Joshua Idehen found widespread recognition with the viral success of ‘Mum Does The Washing’, a poignant, witty piece set to music by his creative partner Ludvig Parment (aka Saturday, Monday) which has led to sold-out shows, major festival appearances—including Glastonbury—and a new chapter in Idehen’s artistic life.
That rebirth led to ‘I Know You’re Hurting, Everyone Is Hurting, Everyone Is Trying, You Have Got To Try,’ is a cathartic, euphoric album blending themes of grief, joy, and healing. Made with Parment, it’s a sonic embrace for the weary, mixing house-inflected beats, choral flourishes, and lyrical meditations on hope, self-worth, and collective resilience. Drawing on friendships, fatherhood, and the redemptive power of music, Idehen creates work that doesn’t shy away from pain—but always points toward light.
Talking about appearing in the video, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell said:
“I had the best time filming the ‘Sayōnara’ music video. Not only is it a massive banger of a track but the intense yet euphoric video is sure to be remembered. The creativity and vision of director, Finn, created a fantastic environment for us all to create something really special. I was delighted to have been asked to be involved in this project especially as I am already a huge fan of Kneecap’s music and an admirer of their work overall.”
Finn Keenan added:
“The intensity and ominous tone of Sayõnara reminded me of both the best nights out and the brutal days that followed. That’s what sparked the idea. But I wanted to turn a typical dance video on its head and focus on the aftermath and how the chemicals in your body change as the week progresses. I wanted to capture the visceral intensity of paranoia and intrusive thoughts. Somehow, that “never again” anxiety of Monday slowly shifts by Friday into a “Weekend is here. Monday will never happen again! ” optimism.
“Through conversations with the band, we also wanted to nod to Belfast’s rave history. In the 90s, raves weren’t just parties — they were acts of resistance, dangerous but vital spaces where Catholics and Protestants could go to be together and dance. That spirit is what fuels the scene of Jamie Lee driving the pimped-up Kneecap Land Rover across the city — a kind of rave pied piper, spreading the idea that art, music, and creativity can break down the metaphorical walls which are often stronger than the physical ones. Pent up anger and frustration are released through dance instead of turning into hate.
@SaintEtienneOfficial return with ‘Take Me To The Pilot’ – the second single from their thirteenth and final studio album ‘International.’
Co-written and produced with Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, the track is a dark, propulsive escape fantasy.
The track is accompanied by a new video by long-time collaborator and acclaimed fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan, and was filmed in Doncaster and the streets of Rome. Starring dancer Jet – first photographed by McLellan for Arena Homme+, the film weaves together suburban stillness and Roman grandeur.
Baxter Dury is pleased to announce the third track 'Schadenfreude' from the up and coming Paul Epworth produced studio album 'Allbarone.
Over the top of a towering European rhythm track that pulses as it keeps rising to ecstatic heights, Baxter Dury brilliantly recalls finding a streak of bitter humour in the misfortune of others. A brilliant and uplifting celebration of someone else's failures.
"I loved making Schadenfreude at Paul Epworth's palatial studio. As soon as we had the backing track, it remained on loop played through these giant bespoke speakers that looked like Cocaine Daleks. It has this optimistic pulsating French dance feel compromised by this slightly over honest fragile man lyric. Schadenfreude." - Baxter Dury -
The track is accompanied by a captivating music video directed by Gareth Bowen and produced by London-based studio Blinkink.
Director Gareth Bowen adds:
“I loved the tune. It instantly felt really cinematic - like something straight out of a pulp ‘80s or ‘90s movie the first time I heard it. I did have to Google what schadenfreude meant, but the meaning - people being weirdly thrilled when things go wrong for someone else - spoke to me. It also felt perfect for building a twisted little narrative that’s atmospheric, joyful, comedic and spooky too.”
This Friday, 11th July, Gwenno releases her hugely anticipated and already highly acclaimed new album Utopia via Heavenly Recordings. Following the singles ‘Dancing On Volcanoes, ‘War’ and ‘Y Gath’, today Gwenno shares a ravishing video for the album’s gorgeous and dreamlike title track.
‘Utopia’ paints a picture of someone living their life against the rapidly fading colours of Las Vegas. That story is sung over an ever-evolving groove that sounds like a Philly Soul band taking Moon Safari on an exciting new journey into the cosmos.
The accompanying video, shot “Casino”-style on location in Las Vegas by Claire Marie Bailey.
Following their road-block Glastonbury appearance, the most talked about and debated slot at the festival in years, Irish rap trio KNEECAP have today shared the video for ‘THE RECAP’ FT. MOZEY.’
(Mozey appears courtesy of Rinse Recordings)
Released initially via their WhatsApp group in late May, and out on DSPs just before they hit the stage at Glastonbury, the track has been causing a stir with the official release clocking in 1 million streams in its first week.
Talking about the video, director Finn Keenan said:
“It took a lot of incredibly talented and passionate people to come together to make this video in just over a week. And I can’t believe the trust and support we got from Kneecap and their team. A once in a lifetime kind of job. So grateful to each and every one of yiz. More Blacks, More Dogs, More Irish, Mo Chara.”
