Hello and welcome to The VHS Stash.
This channel uploads TV station IDs and promo/station ID compilations from the 1970s through the 2000s. I am also pondering branching out into commercials, sign-ons, and sign-offs. I try to upload about once a day!
If there are any discrepancies in the video title or description, please let me know in the comments section.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy!
Notice: I do not own any of the footage on this channel. All clips and videos are the sole copyright of the TV stations and their owners, with first credit to the original uploaders. Any clips that are requested to be taken down on behalf of the stations themselves will be granted.

While I'm busy putting together the next seasonal video, there's another project that will be coming out soon.
For a while now, you may have noticed a few of my posts mention the word "Isibo". This is supposedly another word for "stop", and was one of the proposed names for Adult Swim during its development phase. Next year, the programming block will be celebrating its silver anniversary. To mark the occasion, I've been working on a year-long series of bumps, promos, specials, and more for the past 1.5 years. The footage mainly aired from 2001 through 2009. I'm in the middle of rebuilding the latter half of the bunch, removing duplicates, and creating a list of timestamps.
All of this will start to premiere in January 2026, with two videos a month. However, the only thing missing from most of the videos is the timestamps, as it's a long, tedious process to type them all out. So if one of the videos comes out without a description, rest assured that I'm working to get it up.

Goodbye Cedar Rapids DMA, hello La Crosse/Eau Claire DMA! Here's something I captured during the Eagles/Broncos game: an on-screen ident from WKBT and its low-powered translators. I bought an indoor antenna because cable is dying.

Hello all! Lately, I've been going through some old channel stuff, renaming playlists, seeing which videos to redo, and getting ready for a new compilation soon. I'm also getting ready to move permanently to a new DMA. Fun times!
How have you all reacted to the recent uploads as everything continues to chug along? It looks like a positive reaction, but I want your thoughts.

I saw things were getting boring, so that's why I dropped yesterday's video. It only took me an hour to put together, using whatever I had lying around, and considering that it was the oldest compilation in my trove that hadn't been updated in years, it was time for a facelift. I just wanted to let you know that you should expect more of this in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, I'll be uploading more videos to go live, increasing from one per day to three per day. That's 21 videos in a week and ~90 videos in a month. The amount of stuff I want to show would take a lot longer otherwise, plus everyone else is doing it, so why not me?
On a separate note, I think I figured out Fox's early taglines and the years they ran them:
1987-88: Fox Weekend Television
1988-89: Don't Let Fox Weekend Pass You By
1989-90: This is the Year, This is Fox
Since graphics are gonna be all over the place, the music is what will set each clip apart. If the music doesn't help, then any provided airdate or year will be used in its place. If neither is present nor helpful, then a best guess will be used as a last resort. I'm sure that when these videos drop, you'll all let me know if a particular clip belongs somewhere else.
I hope you all have been enjoying what's been coming out. I'm excited to share with you what I've been working on for 2026. Isibo is a go!

So...Warner Bros. Discovery is splitting into two companies. Is this just another Viacom and CBS Corporation situation again?
Anyways, Discovery Global will be in charge of the cable networks like TBS, TNT and Cartoon Network. This could be good, but most likely will result in changes at all places. As long as Adult Swim remains unchanged, I'm fine.
Warner Bros. will have control over the movie studio and their streaming service.
Let me know your thoughts and theories on this!

Well, I really didn't think y'all would run CBS nearly all the way through, yet here we are. It'll become an option once I reorganize a few other seasons since things got changed on me. In the meantime, why don't you give another network a chance?

CBS is looking kind of thin for seasons right now.
