In the meantime, Mike at @VirtualCoffeeLab has been pushing the boundaries with the Gene Cafe and of all the light roast profiles I've seen on the Gene, his has the most potential! Give it a watch and show his channel some love! He's making great content for home coffee roasters and he's a swell dude :)

WHOA, 3k subs! Thanks so much to all of you who have subscribed, liked and commented on our videos, it's been a massive help and we're so grateful. We've got new videos planned and coming soon, first I'm just wrapping up a complete website redesign. That SHOULD be done in a week or two (come visit our site and let me know what you think in a couple weeks!) and we can get back on schedule with the vids. Hey everybody! So we've been on an unplanned hiatus the last few weeks due to several unforeseen circumstances (translation: life happens sometimes), but we're back at it! Filming this week for the 2nd and 3rd videos in our series on the SR800 for dark roasting Indonesian coffees and roasting for fully washed coffees. After that we're planning on jumping back and forth between some Gene Cafe videos and some back to basics/fundamentals videos. Look for the SR800 videos soon and thanks for your patience!
