A little look at what I gathered from the garden yesterday β twigs, lily stems, dried grasses, and a few other natural bits the season left behind. ππΎ Itβs amazing how much beauty is still out there.
Sunday blooms! πΈ Gave this old apple basket a clear coat and sat a pot of impatiens in it β now itβs ready to shine outside. Do you like repurposing containers for your flowers too?
Needed to put a tomato cage over my catnip in the garden because the neighborhood cat was rolling on it. π Have a nibble kitties, but let's not kill the plant. π πΈπ
Only one red poppy in this patch. Love the papery blooms and the seed pod heads left afterwards. Such an interesting flower. Also I've had a little poo in my newly made bird bath, but haven't caught any birdies enjoying it yet. The bird bath video is on my crafting channelβ‘οΈβ‘οΈβ‘οΈ https://youtu.be/urFKH4Uv4go?si=1SXEc...
I went out to gather a few veggies, and ooh, LOOK at my latest lilies to open. And how pretty blue the sky is today. No filters. Happy Friday everyone!
Spring is finally here.βοΈ Garlic is up and growing well. Saffron dying off. Have pepper and tomato seedling on inside to put in this garden later. Now moving on to the next garden and potato planting, this week. How's your gardening going so far?
The rain held off, so I got a little garden tidying done. π Look what I spied. There will be fresh asparagus on the table soon. π One of our earliest food harvest. MY fav and I look forward to seeing it coming back year after year. Zone 6b Canada
My SAFFRON bulbs look like they multiplied. YAY! Did you know that only the leaves come up in the spring, die off, come up again in the late fall, and get their blooms. π· Interesting plant.π

Success! Goji berries. Can't wait until my two bushes get bigger. Have you tried them?
