New retro toy in the studio. This box is responsible for so much of the sound from my childhood - I feel like a kid again having one of these next to me in the studio now. Can’t help but get giddy every time I find a sound from my favourite videogame soundtracks or new age / darkwave albums from the 90s.

Maybe it's the midlife creeping in... 🤔

Little announcement that isn't related at all to the usual fantasy music postings on this channel... I’ve composed and published a small collection of studies (in duet form) for violin students who are in the process of practicing shifting into 3rd position. It is now available on Sheet Music Plus and the like. Inspiration for these came from some of my own students and the kinds of shifts they needed to work on (thanks y’all!).
