Established in 1997 by a group of young people, Sasnaka Sansada (GA /2762) is a Government registered charitable social service organization committed towards building a just and equitable society with a high level of human morality. The core of Sasnaka Sansada is enriched by the teachings of Buddhist philosophy and other spiritual values, and all its activities are oriented towards creating a human being with an optimum intellectual, social and spiritual balance.
Sasnaka Sansada’s journey started with organizing small scale social service events and initiatives to help integrate the youth as responsible members of society. These programs were initially based in Battaramulla and have now spread to almost all parts of the island. Sasnaka Sansada’s membership holders include individuals representing various professional and academic disciplines, and the movement’s core strength revolves around the university graduates, undergraduates and school children of the country.
