Our profile picture shows Union Pacific E8 942 in Perris, CA at SCRM, and the background is filled with many fun trains of the past including NS 7271 on an outbound UP ITS Train passing Barstow heading to Chicago, IL!
Our manager of JonRailVideos is Jonathan. He's just a railfan who likes to capture many trains especially interesting ones as well as Model Railroading. We mostly railfan around the So Cal area but we go out to some far-out places sometimes(even out of state/country).He/I also sometimes say stuff in 3rd person as you may notice. ALSO! We are willing to film trains in any kind of way to the point when scenes may be SHAKY, TOO FAST, or NOT IN THE HIGHEST QUALITY! Our videos are very different than the average professional videos and as we care more about the fact we capture the train rather than *perfection* alone! However, we'll try to keep it as still, visible, and show as decent quality as possible.

So on 1/16/26, we were able to get glimpses of a neat Loram MOW train at Pico Rivera yard and some private cars buried at Commerce yard. Although not the best spots and shots, we did get another chance to get both of them a few days later. -JRV

Due to track issue in San Bernardino, A3 with VII AMTK 167 leader may go on San Gabriel sub today. Subject to change.
UPDATE: A3 apparently got on Metrolink just to use the Metrolink route between the depot and EMF facility in San Bernardino. Sorry about the misinformation. 8:54 AM
