We are a small kitchenwares business based in Vancouver Island, Canada. We specialize in lifetime cookware and tools, We believe that the one thing that everyone can make in the kitchen is a better life.
I'm in the kitchen, working on a new project to use heatproof silicone spray to recondition an old Teflon pan. It's looking good but does anyone have advice on how to help my food not taste like gasoline?
Today I'm climbing a mountain until I reach the elevation of Mt. Everest - for a family in need. Pitch in a small amount and you might win a Field #8 Cast Iron Skillet
This week I changed up my regular video format in the hope of helping more people who struggle to use their iron effectively. Let me know what you think of the short-form video: https://youtu.be/AlB_l7pfYKI
Do you think that cast iron makers should be trying to make their handles as 'user friendly' as possible? Or do you think that a heritage design is more important?
Tomorrow, I'll be posting my latest chin-wag with The Pan Man, Stephen Muscarella of Field Cast Iron. I asked him all about the Field Method of maintaining all cast iron (and carbon steel cookware), and specifically the role of Chain Mail.
Let me know - do you use Chain Mail to maintain your pans?
I made a very quick video about Hexclad Cookware as a response to loads of questions about my take on its non-stick surface. That video is quite controversial with lovers and haters. Granted, I could have gone into much more detail about why I'm so opposed to brands like Hexclad, but take a look at this, @ChrisYoungCooks made a kick-ass video that highlights much of what's wrong with Hexclad, Scanpan, Swissdiamond, and the like: over-promise and under-deliver. Way to go, Chris. Great work!
Gotta say, this is a fantastic video that speaks my language. I bang on about non-stick all the time but @LeviHildebrandYT crushed this video about ceramic-coated pans

Do you think a true 'Jacques Pepin' french omelet can be made in iron cookware or is a non-stick pan a must for this classic dish?
