Rimworld folks, do you play with Vanilla Combat, Yayo's or Combat extended?
It was being discussed in my discord and even though I suspect this poll will provide hideously inaccurate data (because folks playing modded Rimworld are more likely to see and respond to a Rimworld poll than more casual/vanilla players) it's still interesting to get some numbers.
For the record I play Vanilla nowadays but in the past used CE.
Apparently you should turn off restricted mode in your YouTube settings if you want to see basically any of my videos. I haven't seen any change in views so YouTube obviously thinks at least the vast majority of you are old enough and can handle my content.

I have made it to my US bunker and acquired local beans.
Later this week I’ll see if I can set up a stream to hang out, do some video games and also sample some local delicacies. If you have recommendations for snacks easily accessible in the mid-west leave them here and maybe you’ll get to hear me call them awful.
My setup will be pretty jank because I don’t have my proper PC or desk or chair or kind of anything really yet, just a laptop, but I’ll make it work.
Whilst boxing stuff up for the move I peeped into the old notebooks, when I started making these videos I’d take notes by hand, marking the recording date and start time so that I could then use that as a reference when scrubbing through the gameplay. ‘Live marking’ the relevant parts saves having to essentially rewatch everything and is an immeasurable time save, if you’re planning on recording anything for scripted content I highly recommend a method something like this.
I do it digitally now with a handy tool that lets me directly import the notes as markers onto my footage but I’m glad I have these books as a physical reminder of the work that went into getting this channel started.
These are the first few notes from the video that arguably got the channel off the ground, my first Dwarf fortress video, made right after the steam release, I worked through most of the christmas period because of the nature of my old job (and also because that’s just how it goes when you don’t have kids, everyone else gets first dibs on the school holiday dates), so I remember being home alone after work just staring at the new subscribers and comments in disbelief.
Funnily enough it was also this video that spiff saw, and we since became really great friends on and offline so that was a nice unexpected bonus, I’ll miss that tea obsessed wierdo once we’re stateside.
Anyway, back to packing, Odyssey video is in the pipeline, comes in at about an hour and twenty minutes so it’s not exactly a quick editing job but we’re getting there.
I've got some real actual content coming your way very soon, including an Oblivion remastered video, but I wanted to play it some more on this lovely Sunday, so I'm streaming it both on my Twitch and over on the VOD channel, if this post was hours or days ago, that's what the VODs channel is for innit, go watch it, ta ta.
The enterprising weirdos that live in the vents of my bunker and subsist off of my food scraps and waste water have decided to set up a Vintage Story server to distract them from the squalor of their existence.

Hey folks, I just wanted to make a post to let you all know I'll be very busy for most of this year with "real life" things.
I'll still be publishing at minimum a video per month, but had started to work to a two weekly schedule this year, which was going fairly well at least for the first few months of the year until... "The incident"... took all of my time from me.
But hey, that's how life goes sometimes.
Now, you might be asking two questions - Why are you so busy all of a sudden? Why am I looking at Hazzor in a poorly drawn cowboy hat standing in front of a bald eagle, the US flag and the declaration of independence?
I appreciate the imagery here is quite subtle, so I'll save you from guessing, in a couple of months me and my fiancée are moving to the USA (not a particularly 'cowboy' bit of the USA, by the way, it was just the first 'American' hat that popped to mind.) because she's taken a job over there.
It turns out simultaneously arranging a wedding and a transatlantic move is quite a lot of work, who'd have guessed.
Anyway, you read this in my voice, and if you know of any good bunkers for sale in Ohio reach out, thanks in advance.
For now I'm going back to Obenseuer, see you there soon.
