After days filled with fittings, sketches, and endless creative energy for my Milan Fashion Week collection, I gifted myself something equally important — a day of rest.
Istanbul is a city that never stops moving, but even in its vibrant rhythm, I found moments to pause and breathe. My rest day was about slowing down, enjoying the little things, and soaking in the atmosphere without rushing.
With headphones on, I let music become the soundtrack of my day as I sipped Turkish tea, reflected on the work done so far, and allowed my mind to reset. Sometimes, the best ideas come when you simply let yourself be still.
Later, I slipped into a sharper look — polka dots, blazer, and my signature hat — and stepped out just enough to feel the city’s pulse. Istanbul’s elegance has a way of blending into your spirit, reminding you that fashion isn’t only on the runway; it’s in how you carry yourself every moment.
This pause was more than just rest — it was restoration. It gave me the clarity and strength to step into the final stretch of this journey before Milan.

My Last Evening in Istanbul – Food, Views & Unforgettable Vibes
As my time in Istanbul came to a close, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my last evening. The city, with its unique rhythm and endless charm, gave me one more night to remember.
We began our stroll along the vibrant Istiqlal Street in Taksim, Beyoğlu — alive with music, laughter, and the energy of people from every corner of the world. The colorful storefronts, street performers, and glowing lights captured exactly why this street has become the heartbeat of modern Istanbul.
From there, we wandered down towards Galata, one of my favorite spots in the city. The historic Galata Tower rose proudly above us, while the winding cobbled streets invited us deeper into Istanbul’s timeless beauty. We paused at the Galata Konak Cafe’s terrace, where I filmed this breathtaking view — a sweeping panorama of the Bosphorus and Istanbul’s glowing skyline:
The evening ended with something I had been looking forward to — a stop at the famous Nusra-Et Burger, home of the one and only Salt Bae. The burger lived up to the hype — juicy, rich, and full of flavor 😋✨. The vibe was just as lively as the city streets we had walked earlier — a mix of music, laughter, and the aroma of perfectly grilled meat in the air.
I couldn’t resist capturing the moment (and yes, the burger too). Sometimes, the simplest pleasures — good food, good company, and a city that inspires — make for the perfect ending.

I’m excited to bring you Day 2 of the journey toward our Milan Fashion Week collection! Today was all about solidifying ideas and letting creativity lead the way as we shape what will become the signature pieces of the collection.
🎨 Morning: Inspiration & Sketching
The day began with mood boards, textile swatches, and lots of sketching. We reviewed vintage silhouettes, bold textures, and elegant color palettes. My team and I bounced ideas off one another—details like neckline drapes, sleeve embellishments, and flow of fabric took center stage.
🧵 Midday: Prototyping & Feedback
After sketching, we will move to fabric testing. Draping samples, matching linings, and experimenting with cut-outs. Each sample gave us instant feedback: what flows beautifully, what holds shape, what sings on the runway.

By afternoon, we started integrating the strongest concepts. Some sketches merged: certain drape features combined with specific textures. Others dropped off because they didn’t align with the aesthetic or practical runway flow.
Every decision helps clarify the collection’s personality. We want pieces that are bold yet wearable, timeless yet fresh.
