I know it’s a whole trend now, but matcha has been part of my daily routine for a few years now so it was a no brainer to visit Uji in Japan, known for its rich historical significance in tea culture and high quality tea leaves. I love learning about history when I travel and opt to travel slowly so I can fully immerse myself in the environment. Crowned the Denim Capital of Japan and home to the infamous Momotaro denim label, Kojima is a jean-lovers paradise. We loved walking around in quiet town & stopping into little shops that caught our eye. We of course bought some incredible Japanese denim while we were there!
