For my birthday one year, I had the honor and the privilege to see Princess Diana's dresses. The showing was in Atlanta, Georgia. Even her wedding dress was on display. I took the opportunity to do several 360s in order to take in the experience. I believe her brother may have been the driving force behind the dress tour. Whomever was behind it, thank you for allowing your cousins across the pond the opportunity to experience the beauty and the elegance of the People's Princess. 🇺🇸🩷🇬🇧

Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who played Theodore “Theo” Huxtable across all eight seasons of “The Cosby Show,” has died in an accidental drowning, according to reports. He was 54.

Warner was on a family vacation in Costa Rica when he was caught by a high current. He drowned while swimming near Cocles, a beach in the city of Limon. Warner's body was identified by Costa Rica’s national police on Sunday.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Warner's family and friends during this difficult time.

How Do I Become A Christian?

According to Royal Girlz Ministry:

We repent of our sins and ask Him to come into our lives to be both our Lord and Savior. The prayer of salvation and repentance must come from a broken heart and a contrite spirit. It is because of our confession of salvation through Jesus Christ, that we are made free from the law of sin and death.


Salvation means to be redeemed or delivered from sin and its punishment of death and set free to know, love and serve God our heavenly Father. The Bible states, “Therefore whoever confesses Me (Jesus Christ) before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32 NKJV).

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; …” (Romans 3:23 KJV).

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23 KJV).

Then He will also say to those on the left hand, depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels … And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life” (Matthew 25:41, 46 NKJV).

Anyone who prays the salvation prayer and believes in their heart that Jesus is their Lord and Savior shall be saved.

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 NKJV).

This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to see the Tony Award-winning Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations for the second time at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta! 🎭✨

For those who know me, you already know how deep my love for The Temptations runs. I’ve been a fan since childhood. When I went off to college in 1998, while most girls had posters of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, my walls were covered with David, Eddie, Paul, Otis, Melvin, Dennis, Richard, Ollie, and yes—Bo Henderson (my college crush 😍).

I begged my mom to take me to see them anytime they played at the casinos in Mississippi—even when I was underage. I was blessed to meet them twice and was even invited onto their tour bus for a conversation I’ll never forget. 🙌🏾🎤

While attending Jones Jr. College, I learned that David Ruffin, a Mississippi native wasn’t in the Mississippi Music Hall of Fame. So being the dutiful and dedicated Temptation fan, I took action. I gathered signatures from students all over campus, and by 2002, he was officially inducted. That’s one of my proudest moments. 💪🏾🎶

Today, my love for The Temptations continues to influence my life as a theater teacher. This spring, my students’ final project focused on Broadway musicals, and I made sure to introduce them to Motown. By the end of the week, I heard students singing You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me and forming girl groups around the classroom. A new generation had discovered Motown—and it lit my heart up.

I say all this to say:
The Temptations are the blueprint.
Christmas doesn’t start until Silent Night is played.
They will always be my uncles in my heart.
