Grass & Graves is dedicated to preserving history—one headstone at a time.
Based in Natchez, Mississippi, this channel documents the cleaning and restoration of neglected grave markers using safe, proven methods developed through decades of experience in exterior cleaning.
Each project is approached with respect for the lives and stories these markers represent, with a focus on proper technique and long-term preservation.
Some restorations are supported through the Adopt a Marker initiative, allowing local donors to help fund the work. Every project is filmed and shared for transparency.

Just a quick update for everyone — I haven’t disappeared from the cemeteries. I’ve just been busy with house washing and exterior cleaning work lately.
I’ll be back out at the cemetery soon with more cleanups, stories, and videos. In the meantime, I’m also working on upgrading the Grass & Graves uniform a little bit so the channel has a more professional look going forward.
Here’s a mockup of the new shirt. Nothing too flashy — just trying to keep it clean, respectful, and fitting for the work.
Thanks to everyone who continues to watch, comment, and support the channel. More cemetery content is coming soon.

Back in the cemetery soon. The weather and work schedule have kept me away for a bit, but the mission hasn’t changed — preserving history, one headstone at a time.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a day of remembrance, honor, and gratitude for those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we could enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.
As someone who spends time preserving and caring for places of rest, I’m reminded daily that every name on a marker represents a life, a story, and a legacy that deserves to be remembered.
From Grass & Graves, we honor those who served and never came home.
May their sacrifice never be forgotten.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far. I’ll be tied up with work most of this week washing, and Friday I’ll be attending my daughter’s graduation from LSU — a proud dad moment for sure.
Last weekend turned into a complete rain fest, so filming plans got washed out, but if the weather cooperates I’m planning to get back out this Sunday and work on a new Grass & Graves video.
I appreciate all of you following along, watching the videos, and supporting these preservation efforts. Looking forward to getting back in the cemetery soon.

Tomorrow’s cleaning will be a little different for me.
This marker belongs to a longtime friend of my family—someone I’ve known since childhood, and someone who meant a great deal to people close to me.
I haven’t started the work yet, but I already know this isn’t one I’ll rush through. It deserves time, care, and respect… just like I would give my own family.
Moments like this are a reminder that these aren’t just markers in the ground. Every name carries a story, and some of them hit closer to home than others.
I’ll be sharing the process once it’s complete.

The washing rigs have been running nonstop lately.
When I’m not in the cemetery, I’m cleaning homes across Natchez — and I’m grateful for the work.
I do have several headstone cleanings coming up soon, and I’ll be back behind the camera very shortly.
Thank you for sticking with me. Preservation work never stops.

As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every one of you who has watched, shared, commented, donated, or simply followed along with Grass & Graves.
This past year was filled with meaningful moments—restoring forgotten markers, honoring families and veterans, preserving local history, and showing respect to those who came before us. None of it would be possible without your encouragement and support.
In the year ahead, my goal remains the same: to continue caring for these sacred places with dignity, respect, and purpose, while shining a light on stories that deserve to be remembered.
May the new year bring you peace, good health, and time well spent with those you love.
Thank you for being part of the Grass & Graves family.
Happy New Year.
