Here's the current progress of the markers we cleaned just 6 days ago and we haven't had any rain since then. They are already whitening up. Hopefully any precipitation we receive this week will make a drastic improvement.

Hey everyone! 👋
I know it’s been a little quiet on the channel lately — sorry for the absence! I’ve been tied up with some other urgent projects, but I haven’t forgotten about y’all or the mission of Grass & Graves.
Very soon, we’ll be heading to Vicksburg City Cemetery to clean this beautiful stone cross and a few other historic grave markers. It’s going to be a special restoration and I can’t wait to share the full process with you.

Update on the Vase Repair 🌿
Today I removed the ratchet strap that was holding the vase together while the Tenax Domo 10 cured — and I’m happy to report it’s now solid as a rock! 💪
Once the rain clears and we have some dry days in the forecast, I’ll be heading back out to give the vase and surrounding area a proper cleaning. Excited to share the finished restoration with you soon!

📢 Next Weekend’s Cleaning Project
We’ll be cleaning the grave marker for Vivian Brown Cangemi and her husband (not pictured). The markers are only lightly soiled and should clean up beautifully with some scrubbing and D/2 Biological Solution.
This cleaning is a personal donation from me in honor of two of Mrs. Cangemi’s children, who I was fortunate to go to high school with. 💐
