Grass & Graves is dedicated to preserving history one headstone at a time. Through careful, respectful restoration work, each marker is documented to honor the lives, families, and stories they represent.

From historic cemetery plots to long-neglected markers, this channel focuses on proper cleaning methods, preservation techniques, and the quiet dignity of restoration.

Some projects are supported through the Adopt a Marker community initiative, allowing local donors to sponsor the cleaning of specific grave markers. Every restoration is filmed and shared for transparency.

Based in Natchez, Mississippi.

Grass & Graves

Tomorrow’s cleaning will be a little different for me.

This marker belongs to a longtime friend of my family—someone I’ve known since childhood, and someone who meant a great deal to people close to me.

I haven’t started the work yet, but I already know this isn’t one I’ll rush through. It deserves time, care, and respect… just like I would give my own family.

Moments like this are a reminder that these aren’t just markers in the ground. Every name carries a story, and some of them hit closer to home than others.

I’ll be sharing the process once it’s complete.

The washing rigs have been running nonstop lately.

When I’m not in the cemetery, I’m cleaning homes across Natchez — and I’m grateful for the work.

I do have several headstone cleanings coming up soon, and I’ll be back behind the camera very shortly.

Thank you for sticking with me. Preservation work never stops.

Grass & Graves

As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every one of you who has watched, shared, commented, donated, or simply followed along with Grass & Graves.

This past year was filled with meaningful moments—restoring forgotten markers, honoring families and veterans, preserving local history, and showing respect to those who came before us. None of it would be possible without your encouragement and support.

In the year ahead, my goal remains the same: to continue caring for these sacred places with dignity, respect, and purpose, while shining a light on stories that deserve to be remembered.

May the new year bring you peace, good health, and time well spent with those you love.

Thank you for being part of the Grass & Graves family.
Happy New Year.

Here's the current progress of the markers we cleaned just 6 days ago and we haven't had any rain since then. They are already whitening up. Hopefully any precipitation we receive this week will make a drastic improvement.

Hey everyone! 👋
I know it’s been a little quiet on the channel lately — sorry for the absence! I’ve been tied up with some other urgent projects, but I haven’t forgotten about y’all or the mission of Grass & Graves.

Very soon, we’ll be heading to Vicksburg City Cemetery to clean this beautiful stone cross and a few other historic grave markers. It’s going to be a special restoration and I can’t wait to share the full process with you.

Stay tuned — that video’s coming soon! 🙏⚒️
