Grace and peace, family. I sometimes think in awe of the man I used to be.

I used to curse 🤬 all the time. Viewing some old text threads (I never delete anything!), I cringe at some of the things I used to say regularly.

But God.

He took me from my filth that I was so comfortable in. When my eyes were blinded into thinking what I let in was acceptable; when my ears would hear things I shudder at hearing now; when my tongue would spew venom, and I would revel in how I could reduce another human's esteem in a matter of moments...

I used to take pride in how easy it was for me to "cleverly" insult people, stamp mean-spirited nicknames on them, and then straight-faced look a person in the eye that I'd had un-Christlike thoughts about just moments prior.

I was lost.

I was blinded 🙈 by the darkness I'd made my home. I was deaf 🙉 to His voice urging me back to Him. I spoke 🙊 things that were unholy, rather than crying out to God.

But, He has made me new.

I can now see. I have been freed from the chains of my sin! Hallelujah! 🙌🏾

While I am never too far from "Egypt," I work daily to seek the Kingdom of God.

I live in the Light of Christ, and He in me. I invite you to live with me.

It was set via a post originally made on 10/23/2020, a vision that I wrote and made plain, as instructed via Habakkuk 2:2. Well, that date has come and gone. Did I hit my goal?
