Little Blessing Diaries

Dua for protection from evil eyes and jealousy.


The evil eye (nazar) and hasad (jealousy) are realities mentioned in Qur’an and Sunnah. Rasulullah ﷺ taught us some very powerful duas for protection. Here are the most authentic ones you can recite daily for yourself, your family, and your home:

🌿 From the Qur’an
Surah Al-Falaq (113)
“Qul a‘oozu bi rabbil-falaq, min sharri maa khalaq, wa min sharri ghaasiqin iza waqab, wa min sharrin-naffaa-thaati fil-‘uqad, wa min sharri haasidin iza hasad.”
(Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of the night when it grows dark, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.)

Surah An-Naas (114)
Protection from whispers, jealousy, and unseen harm.

Ayat al-Kursi (Surah Baqarah 2:255)
Reciting after every prayer and before sleeping protects from shaytan and harm.

🌿 From Hadith
General Protection

Rasulullah ﷺ said:
“Seek refuge in Allah’s perfect words from every devil, poisonous pest, and every harmful evil eye.”
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ

For Children (taught by the Prophet ﷺ for Hasan and Husayn):
أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
“I seek protection for you in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil, poisonous thing, and from every harmful evil eye.”

✅ Tips:

Recite Surah Ikhlas, Falaq, Naas (3 Quls) morning & evening, and blow on yourself/children.

Keep saying Bismillah when praising or sharing blessings, to protect from nazar.

Regularly recite Ayat al-Kursi for powerful daily protection.
