i think i will add trigger warnings for scars in my drawings.
i don’t particularly want to, i made an argument and i am stubborn. your comfortability isnt my responsibility—but honestly, id rather swallow my pride and just do it. it may not be my issue but im finding myself feeling guilty for not adding one.
if my art has triggered you i am truly sorry.

on another note, some are taking issue with how i draw scars on my sona as i do not have keloid scars.
before i start, i will be discussing self-harm. please continue with caution.
right off the bat, i am not glamorising anything. i already explained this under a community post, but i fear a lot of people took “my scars aren’t this severe and this is a sona with lore” as “i dont have any scars and this is an oc”
my sona does have lore and worse scars than me cuz of that lore; but his lore is built off of my life. its personal, i dont like talking about personal stuff, but i will.
my sona is still me. he looks like me, has my name, my personality—he is me, only older + some fictional parts to his story.
i still have scars, which aren’t white. a lot of the ones on my legs are purple and red, just not keloids. the reason i draw them like that is cope, really. i would much rather draw what i want to do to myself than do it. im trying to recover, and this is helping me. art is about exaggeration.
a sona does not have to be a 1:1 replica of someone. i am not trying to be disrespectful, or glamorise, or pretend my scars are worse than they are. to anyone who feels disrespected, i am truly sorry. i never wanted to do that. i will not stop drawing my sona like that, but i want you to know my intentions are not malicious or anything along those lines. i am coping through my art.
i apologise to anyone i have hurt over this. i love you all.
