i saw a lot of comments saying “why are we using ai” ; “people hate ai until it’s funny”

i’m going to be honest, i seriously didn’t process the image was ai. that sounds really ridiculous, but it didn’t have the cliche ai smooth look, so i didn’t think twice—which i’m aware is a massive, stupidly obvious oversight on my end, and doesn’t excuse anything.

my friend and i were giggling over it last night, so i just posted it here with 0 context for the soul reason that i found it amusing.

i did not generate it; i do not support generative ai, and i never meant to come off that i was promoting it or my world view changed bc “haha funny!!”

regardless of my reasons, it’s still MY bad, and i’m so sorry for that. this was an honest mistake on my end, and i will be more careful in the future.
thank you to the people who pointed out my error, i appreciate it!
