Documenting my journey through running and fitness. Lots of training tips and information to help you achieve your fitness goals. And some occasional travel vlogs
2026 Race Schedule! Definitely a lot on the calendar, but the main focus for the year is the Swiss Alps 100
33,000 ft (10,000 m) of elevation gain and loss over 100 miles (160 km) is going to be pretty damn tough. But I’m gonna do everything in my power to make sure I’m ready for it
Will you guys be at any of these races? Hope to meet some of y’all out there!
I’ve been setting annual goals like this for the last decade. It’s become one of my favorite parts of the new year. It’s a powerful way to reflect and acknowledge the progress I’ve made (or sometimes lack thereof).
One of the biggest takeaways is seeing how my priorities have shifted.
For a long time, it was mostly about finances and fitness. Family was almost an afterthought. But the older I get, the more I realize family is the most important of all.
Going into 2026, I want every decision I make to be made with our family in mind. I want to provide, protect, and to be present. The goals I have listed out are measurable targets to ensure I’m sticking to that goal.
If you’ve read this far, please know I appreciate you. I couldn’t do any of this without this amazing community. I truly hope you all have an excellent 2026 and I can’t wait to keep growing together 🤝
Massive shout out and appreciation to my papá Mason
Mason paced me for 55 miles (18.5 hours!) at Crazy Mountain 100. Mason’s golden retriever energy was exactly what I needed to help get me to the finish line
There were lots of laughs, deep conversations, and even some long stretches without saying a word to each other
I can think of no better way to bond with someone than by doing something really difficult together. This is what Farther Together is all about. Can’t wait to do it again sometime soon!
Sleep deprivation, navigating mountain back roads, prepping gear, countless hours waiting. These are the real heroes of ultra running.
I can’t thank these people enough for their time, energy, and support. Selflessly showing up to help me do something selfish. These types of people are few and far between. I’m more than grateful to have them in my life!
Not to mention the hundreds of volunteers that it takes to even put on a 100-mile race. It takes a whole village of people to do these epic races.
This is why we titled our new film “FARTHER TOGETHER.” You can now watch the film on my YouTube! 🍿🎬
This race was by far the most difficult physical endeavor of my life. 100 miles and 23,000 ft of climbing through some of the most rugged mountains Mother Earth has to offer.
This course broke me down, and built me back up. It’s such a strange feeling to be in an unbelievably beautiful place, yet enduring so much suffering. And I f*cking loved every bit of it.
We are LIVE!!! “Farther Together” is now available to watch on YouTube
I’m so excited for you all to see the film we’ve been working so hard on for the last 5 months.
Farther Together is a short film about my Crazy Mountain 100 mile ultramarathon. But more than that, it’s about community, resilience, and the people who make the journey possible.
Directed by Chris Kim, this film captures every element of the race experience beautifully.
This was such a unique and fun race concept. 4.16 miles every hour on the hour until one person remains
I honestly felt really good for most of this race. Stomach was handling food well, my legs had plenty of pop, and my mind was locked in
Unfortunately, my knee had other plans. Around mile 60, my knee started feeling tight. Nothing painful, but I noticed it. Then with each loop, it got progressively tighter. And finally by mile 80, it became painful with every step
After dealing with a knee injury earlier this year, I decided pressing on wasn’t the smart move. So I pulled the plug at 84 miles and let @nickp_runs take the W with 88 miles
This was by far one of the most fun and yet most challenging races I’ve ever done. The camaraderie with other runners and the difficulty of the race format made this a race that I will remember forever
Big thanks to @breakingpointevents for putting this awesome event on
A massive kudos to @nickp_runs for bringing home the win and to all of the other runners who toed the line and push their limit limits
Running is so freaking cool. We’ll see at the next one🤝

HYROX Phoenix Pro Doubles - 57:44
A new PR for the boys!!! This race was a blast
It was so sick getting to race among some of the elite HYROX athletes, literally the fastest guys in the world
We placed 21st out of 246 teams + had a 36 second PR
This sport is hard, but so much fun! Maybe one of these days we’ll put together a real training block and see what we can really do 😂
