Ghana's headline inflation edged higher to 5.30% y/y in June-2026 from 3.70% y/y in May-2026, reflecting its highest level since Dec-2026. Although inflation remains low, the recent spike signals emerging price pressures within the economy.
Against this backdrop, we expect upward pressure on yields as markets price in increased inflation risks and potential adjustments to the monetary policy outlook

Ghana's economy grew by 6.4% year-on-year in Q1 2026, up from 6.2% in Q1 2025.
This continued growth suggests that the economy remains relatively stable and supportive of business expansion. It could also create favorable conditions for companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) to sustain strong performance.
