We produce a weekly Elite Dangerous News show every Friday called; Witchspace News. Covering all the latest Elite Dangerous in-game news and community headlines.
We also produce mid-week videos covering a number of titles in the format of first look gameplay reviews, special reports & cinematic videos.
We are proudly partnered with the developers of Elite Dangerous, Frontier Developments PLC and the premium hardware manufacturer, VKB Sim and on the Affiliate program of Pimax VR headsets.

The Dodec Station will not be coming out in early access and will instead be available permanently for cash purchase only.
It provides unique BGS and Powerplay statistical advantages (even if slight) that cannot be acquired otherwise in-game.
This means FDEV are introducing a gameplay advantage tied solely to real-money expenditure.
How do you feel about this shift in FDev’s monetisation policy?

Just got an info-dump on the T11 changes coming in. Too late to make Witchspace News today:
Type-11 Mining rebalance:
More than doubled mining damage resulting in Increased fragments per second,
Increased limpet speed,
Increased Controller limpet count from 8 to 14,
Increased chance of enriched chunk spawning,
Reduced Mining Volley Repeater spread,
Type-11 Visual changes:
Fixed flashing/strobing light reflection in the cockpit when firing the Mining Volley Repeater,
Various fixes to Type-11 cosmetics,
Fixed animation issues with Type-11 landing gear,
Type-11 Audio changes:
Adjusted audio when firing the Mining Volley Repeater to reduce the distracting effect caused by the audio coming through predominantly one side.,
Type-11 Flight model changes:
Updated 11 roll values to prevent extreme sharp roll experience, especially in FA off

🔊⚠️🚨Our own BGS Meta-Super-Human, CMDR Gen Zoff, has just pointed out that any carrier purchased system data from the permit locked mystery system of HIP 87621 has been deleted... I had that data and can confirm. It's gone.

Frontier have released further information which appears to be walking back on their previous announcement to the Partner Program.
This is from the Frontier Unlocked Discord Server from Phil W (Elite Community Manager) today at 13.05 BST
"The above is all being tested - there is no guarantee that everything will make it into the update on the 23rd, nor is there any guarantee that things will be the same (750m may change to 500m for example). So as soon as there's confirmation that these changes are all good and will be in the next update, we'll let you know. Partners are aware because they are playing on that build but it is still very much a test build at the moment"

BREAKING NEWS
Along with the Type-11 Update arriving on 23 September 2025, the following changes will be introduced:
- The Organic Sampler scanning range is going to be adjusted from 75m → 750m
- Colonisation construction efforts and fully constructed facilities will be able to be demolished or cancelled
- Colonisation commodities requirements will be listed when selecting the system on the Galaxy Map or selecting the facility on the System Map
- Frontier are also introducing a new tool which will allow Commanders to change their name at a cost of 500 ARX.
We currently do not have any other information or answers to the questions these new changes will bring in, but as always will keep you posted if we get more.
We will be bringing you a first review video of the T-11 Prospector later today, so make sure to watch out for that too!
