🎨 Small design changes can completely change how data is understood.



In this donut chart redesign, the goal wasn’t to add more information. It was to make the right information easier to read 👀



❌ Before
- Labels were crowded around the chart, competing for attention
- Repeated values and inconsistent formatting added visual noise.
- Comparing segments took effort, and there was no clear focal point. The chart showed data, not insight.



✅ After
- Clean, structured labels with consistent hierarchy and spacing.
- Values and percentages are clearly separated for faster scanning.
- Color-coded tags improve category recognition at a glance.
- A central KPI anchors the chart and reinforces the main story.
- Subtle visual cues guide interpretation without adding clutter.
