The Brient Family Adventures

We are an Arctic family documenting real-world adventure travel in the Canadian North.
Our channel focuses on long-distance snowmobiling, winter expeditions, off-grid living, and northern family life. We share honest, experience-based gear reviews and travel insights based on use and experience in extreme cold—where preparation and reliability matter.

The Brient Family Adventures

Hello friends!
We are back from our first trip this winter and are making our way through hours of footage to bring you this adventure.

We are not going for the extreme cold on this first trip of the year, but you will love this adventure in southern Africa, as we share stories from locals, experience some wild landscapes, see lots of wildlife, get stuck in the sand dunes on the way to sandwich harbour in Namibia, and sleep among a migration of zebras in Botswana.

Episode one is ready to go live on Tuesday the 11th of March!

Philippe is currently up in the Canadian arctic serving our country and working with the Canadian rangers. We'll be making snowmobile content as a family once he returns.
We'll also be doing some reviews, so If you have requests for reviews, let me know and I will make sure to take them into consideration.

Thanks for the support, and I think you will love this series of our overlanding adventure in Austral Africa.

Hello crew!
First of all, Happy holidays and thank you to all of you! Those of you who have joined us here on Youtube this year, and those of you who have been with us for much longer. This year has been a year filled with growth for our coffee roastery, leaving little room for adventuring and editing. We hope you enjoyed the Arctic trip series, we sure had fun making the videos and reliving the trip as we edited the footage throughout the summer months. We had so many hours of footage, it was hard to choose only the best! We hope you loved the scenery as we passed through the curtain mountains, and the experience of riding on the Arctic ocean.

After a busy summer, fall and Christmas season, we are getting ready for some fun adventures that we have planned this winter, the first one is starting in a couple of weeks!

We look forward to creating some more great content for you.

Thanks so much for being here and for supporting our channel, we love chatting with you in the comment section and always enjoy the emails we receive from you.

Wishing you a holiday season filled with great moments and adventures and a happy and healthy 2025!

The Brient Family Adventures

Hello friends! The next episode of our arctic adventure is now online! Join us as we arrive to the beautiful community of Old crow, where we have an unexpected surprise waiting for us. Then, as we continue, we come face to face with conditions that make us have change our plan A. Good thing we always plan for a plan B and C.

We will be traveling through stunning scenery, in conditions that are a mixed bag of warm, wet and freezing cold.

We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we've enjoyed putting it together for you. A full hour of snowmobile adventure in a part of the world that not a whole lot of people get to see. Enjoy!

We made it! We snowmobiled 1650 km in 14 days. Traveling from Fort mc Pherson to Old crow and on to Herschel island, the most northern point in the Yukon. We have some amazing videos that we will start putting together once we have unloaded our gear. 🙌

We finished the first leg of our trip!

Good evening from Old crow YT!
And welcome to all our new subscribers.

The past 4 days riding here from Fort Mcpherson have been an epic adventure (to say the least!) and we cannot wait to share more with you when we return home in a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow we have a scheduled video going online about Philippe’s traverse from BC to the Bering sea with Packhorses, a dog team and canoe, in the 90’s.

We are continuing our journey north and will be offline for the next while. See you on the other side!

New video up about Philippe's month in Resolute bay Canada. Plane crash sites, snowmobiling, patrolling in a BV206, ice bergs and polar night. It's stark, dark and extremely cold, but beautiful at the same time, enjoy his documentary style story here: https://youtu.be/MW_5V4Emr9Y?si=15K8D...

Some of you have come to see us at our coffee stand at the farmers market, or sent us emails with encouragement. We love it!
It’s been a busy summer with lots of visitors, but we were out exploring this last weekend and found some snow. Which is making us really stoked for the upcoming winter!

While we are busy stocking up on firewood, let us know what you would like to see more from us! Reviews? Winter Adventures? Summer adventures? Off grid living? We’d love to hear what you want to see.

Thanks again for being part of it all, you rock 🫶
