TONIGHT'S TOPIC: REPENTANCE
Repentance is not just feeling bad.
It is not just saying sorry.
It is not just crying over consequences.
It is not just trying harder to be a better person.
Biblically, repentance is a deep turning of the heart — turning from sin, self-rule, hardness, deception, and compromise, and returning to God with sincerity.
In Week 3 of Disciple Class, we are slowing down to look at repentance that leads to freedom.
Repentance is one of the elementary principles of Christ. It is foundational to the gospel response. Jesus preached it. Peter preached it. Paul preached it. And Jesus even called churches to repent.
This is not optional.
This is not secondary.
This is not just for unbelievers.
God is after truth in the inward parts. He wants to search the heart, expose what is hidden, break up the fallow ground, remove the heart of stone, and give us a heart that is tender toward Him.
In this class, we will look at the difference between godly sorrow and worldly sorrow, why sin hardens and deceives the heart, what David’s repentance in Psalm 51 teaches us, and why true repentance must become specific, honest, thorough, and from the heart.
But repentance is not about staying condemned.
God does not expose the heart to destroy us.
He exposes the heart to cleanse us, heal us, restore us, and bring us back into freedom.
IN THIS LIVE CLASS:
• Why repentance is foundational to following Jesus
• How repentance is connected to the gospel response
• Why Jesus calls churches, not only unbelievers, to repent
• What it means to turn from sin and self-rule and return to God
• How the cares of life and deceitfulness of riches can choke the Word
• Why God desires truth in the inward parts
• How closed eyes, hard ears, and dull hearts keep people from turning
• The difference between godly sorrow and worldly sorrow
• How sin deceives, hardens, and sears the conscience
• What Psalm 51 teaches us about repentance from the heart
• Why confession must be specific, honest, and brought into the light
• How the Father prunes what hinders fruitfulness
• Why repentance clears the way for freedom, healing, and deeper relationship with God

The goal is not shame.
The goal is not condemnation.
The goal is freedom.
Repentance clears the way to come back to God, receive cleansing, walk in truth, and live with a soft heart before Him.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

God, Money, and the War for Your Heart.
Money touches every part of your life.
It affects how you plan, how you feel, how you respond to pressure. It influences your sense of stability and your view of the future. Whether you realize it or not, money shapes decisions every single day.
God is not silent about that. He has a plan for money — not merely for how you spend it, but for how it shapes your heart. Before this becomes a conversation about giving or saving, it has to become a conversation about trust.
What happens inside you when money is involved?

What Is God’s Will for Your Life?
www.livekingdom.com/blog/what-is-gods-will-for-you…
Where do I move?
Who do I marry?
What job should I take?
What will finally give my life purpose?
The exciting part? The Bible says, “This is the will of God,” but then it rarely answers those questions.
It answers something deeper.

Jesus’ primary mission is to save, not to condemn. He came to save humanity from sin and everything contrary to the kingdom of God, including guilt, shame, and condemnation.

“If I’m a Christian… why does my life still feel the same?”
Because the Kingdom of God doesn’t work on the world’s terms.
“If you try to operate in the ways of the old life, you’ll keep getting what that world gives you.”
That’s the problem so many believers face—and this video lays out the way out.
