No new video this week as I'm still not super focused BUT I've been wondering recently:

When you're watching style videos (including my own), what do you want to solve or hope to achieve?

My dog Wendy passed away today. It's still hard to comprehend it because I was playing with her just a few weeks ago in Bulgaria. It simply doesn't feel real that she's gone so abruptly.

You probably don't know this, but since the age of 4, I was terrified of dogs. So much so that I'd cross the street whenever a dog was coming towards me. And while I always liked dogs, I couldn't enjoy them because of that irrational fear.

Then while I was on exchange in Singapore, my parents sent me a photo of a puppy. She had just gone into our yard, they fed her because she was hungry and tired... And that's how Wendy got adopted into our family.

She found us. And she chose us.

A few months later, I came back to a house with a puppy. She was so tiny, yet so energetic and playful. She'd jump all over the place, and playfully bite our fingers. She'd inhale treats within a second. And always be ready for more.

I remember feeling so apprehensive to meet Wendy because I was afraid. But at the same time, she was so cute with her tiny body and huge paws, that I wanted to be around her. I watched my dad and my sister play with her, and I wanted to be a part of that fun.

Step by step, she started to win me over. A few minutes of play. A few cuddles. Slapping me with that huge paw, as if asking me to continue petting her.

One day, I realised I was no longer afraid. I had started seeing other dogs on the street and smiling at them. The fear was gone. It was replaced by love and appreciation for the gift that animals are.

Over the next 10 years, Wendy was always there to greet me when I'd fly home. She'd hear the car and run to the fence, always wanting to see who's coming. We had our rituals. She kept me company whenever I worked from home, always coming to my side while I talked, so I could pet her head.

And I felt so proud to be her family. To feed her, pet her, and play with her. She was our third sister, and for sure my parents' favourite child!

Wendy taught me what unconditional love means. What it looks like to be happy and carefree. To feel safe and loved. To trust someone so deeply and to love them.

It still feels unreal that she's gone. It's not fully hit me yet, but it will the next time I go to Bulgaria and she isn't there to greet me. When there's treats in the cupboard, but no one to feed them to.

So if you have a pet, please give them a big hug today. You just never know.

Rest in peace, my dear Wendy. You've changed me forever.❤️❤️❤️

HELP! I'm going to Oslo in a few days (so excited!!) and I need your best tips for getting dressed for the cold!

Question: I have Dr Martens Oxfords, they're not slippery so perfect if it's icy. But they're not high tops - would I be okay with woolen socks, or do I need higher top shoes? Is there a lot of snow to walk through?

How many layers do I need? Am I ok with a wool coat with some jumpers underneath? (I don't own a big puffer jacket so that's not an option. I have a small down jacket I could layer?)

I'm seriously not used to getting dressed for below 0 degrees anymore 😂 so any help is appreciated!
