Hey everyone! As I was preparing for this album kickstarter, ‪@purpleschala‬ and I were also low-key jumping into a project devoted to the music of Hollow Knight! I'm so excited to announce that the first vid is out, please enjoy our rendition of the Main Theme!
For those who are following the FFVII album kickstarter, we had a very strong first 24 hours and funding is sitting at just over %30!! Hello everyone, and happy anniversary to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33!! I’m so happy that ‪@viopatti‬ invited me to play on her arrangement of Alicia to mark the occasion. For me, the Expedition 33 soundtrack was one of the most compelling of 2025, and I’m really happy I could finally be part of a full arrangement from it. An interesting thing for everyone to check out, last week I went up to the Monthaven Center for the Arts to be interviewed for their podcast! We talked about video game music, the Nashville music scene, and all the ways those two things intersect! Hello everyone!! I'm so excited to share with you all that the new kickstarter campaign for the album, Heroes of Midgar: A Tribute to Final Fantasy VII, is in prelaunch! To celebrate, check out the full album artwork, by the amazing @koukokkom, who I've had the joy of working with since the days of my first album with ‪@purpleschala‬.
SPEAKING OF! ‪@purpleschala‬ will be joining us for a number of tracks on this project, I think five out of twelve tracks planned at last count? There were certain themes that we really wanted to include, like The Nightmare Begins, that really didn't lend themselves to string quartet along, so I'm so happy we were able to bring her on board! <3

IT'S A HOLIDAY MIRACLE!!!!
Everyone! Friday, December 19th, I'll be releasing a single!!
Those of you who follow my various activities might remember the album crowdfunding I attempted over the summer for an FFVII string quartet album. We fell short of our funding goal, but I didn't give up on the project. We had a recording session in October and recorded about half of the tracks that we hope to include on the album. Including this one, my arrangement of Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII.
This is a pretty emotional moment for me because of the amount I invested into this project. It's my first time booking a top-tier studio to do a project like this, and I COULD NOT BE HAPPER WITH HOW EVERYTHING SOUNDS!!!!
It's also my first time working with a professional videographer for one of my YouTube projects, so when you see the video go up on Friday, it's going to look quite a bit different that most of my videos. Please let me know what you all think!! I'm going to start setting this up right now, I'm hoping to do a video premier her Friday morning for this, so STAY TUNED!
I'm thrilled that a very long time collaborator and friend was able to work with me on the album artwork here, follow her on IG and BSKY at @koukokkom. The other members of the Eikon String Quartet are not very active on YouTube, but long time followers might recognize the violist, Tony Parce, from my Sacrifice Part Three piano quintet cover that we did several years ago. I'll have full credits for all involved when the video goes up.

Everyone, it's an incredible honor to share that I was able to contribute some solo cello tracks to the new game release, Battle Suit Aces!! I'm so happy that I was able to work with a long time wonderful light in the VGM community, the one and only Carlos Eiene, ‪@insaneintherainmusic‬!
Head over now, check out this video he made from the main theme. I feel particularly special here as the ONE musician in the video who is not Carlos!! :D He basically is the orchestra, and I'm just happy I was able to play a part.
The game looks super fun, can't wait to check it out!!!!

We're picking back up our series of arrangements from Octopath Traveler II with Castti, The Apothecary.
