This September, my boss and I traveled to Dubai and Saudi Arabia. Our primary goal was to observe the Middle Eastern greenhouse market and explore customer needs. For the first few days in Dubai, we attended a local vertical cultivation expo. Braving the scorching Dubai sun, we walked through the desert and met with several clients. Since our main client base was concentrated in Saudi Arabia, we traveled north to south, visiting all of Saudi Arabia's major cities, from Riyadh to Jeddah to Medina, constantly on the go. While the trip was arduous, it was incredibly rewarding.


Though I've returned to China, I still vividly dream of the scenery outside the car window and the vibrant lights of the local cities every night!

This is a 10-meter-wide test sample of a multi-span, cross-roof greenhouse with crossbeams and W-frames. The customer used 48mm-diameter arch rods with a 1.8mm-thick tube wall, which is sturdier than 1.5mm tubes. Due to international transportation restrictions on steel tube size, the top arch rods were cut into three sections, each fastened with two self-tapping screws. The top fastening design incorporates both screws and clamps. The crossbeams are also fastened using screws and square tubes.

We took customers from South Africa to visit a domestic multi-span greenhouse project. The project we visited was mainly for seedbed planting.

We saw the large-scale seedbed planting technology in this greenhouse planting area, and that the greenhouse, which had been used for nearly 12 years, was still performing well. In addition, the seedlings in the greenhouse planting area were all operated by automated machines, which greatly increased the efficiency of seedlings and reduced the repetitive work of workers;

One of the accompanying people was an agricultural expert, Richard, who was responsible for training local customers on how to plant efficiently. He also made many very constructive suggestions during this visit. We all listened patiently and improved, and also discovered a lot of professional knowledge that we had never known;

1. Film covering and internal configuration
The greenhouse features a 150-micrometer film covering and an upgraded internal configuration, including a manual sunshade net. The roof is equipped with an electric film roll ventilation system.

2. Structure and foundation
The greenhouse's main and secondary columns are made of square tube galvanized steel, ensuring solidity and durability.
