Hey Logang,

I'm still here and slowly working on videos in the background. The past year or so has been quite a tumultuous time with some health issues, some work issues, and also trying to prioritise some other goals.

Hopefully there's still a few of you around ready for some new videos, but it'll be a little more of a wait. I'm working on longer, better researched videos and upping the production quality as best I can, so when they're ready I hope they'll be worth it!

As a little teaser here are some of the videos I'm workshopping:

An iceberg video on the Curse of Monkey Island
A story review on Star Wars Outlaws (spoiler: it's quite good!)
A couple Broken Sword videos including the new Reforged game
A few videos on Indiana Jones for the run up to the new game (more fate of atlantis content here we come!)

I've also been trying to experiment with shorts as you may have seen a couple of months ago. I don't feel like I've found my footing with those yet but expect more in the future as I test and experiment and see what resonates with people.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle looks like it's going to really hit the mark! Pleased to see this won't just be a reskin of Uncharted and a shoot 'em up masquerading as an adventure game.

I wanted to make an Indiana Jones news video following the reveal of the game today to kickstart my 2024 content calendar but my computer has shit the bed. New PC delivered tomorrow, so fingers crossed I can get everything in place to join in the hype!

Hey gang!

Just wanted to let you know I'm switching track with content and I'll be focusing on longer, deeper retrospectives about narrative games. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them, but they take a lot longer to create to the level of quality we all expect.

The first one will be on Harlen Ellison's incredible "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" a dystopian point and click from 1995 about an evil AI. It's narrative is more relevant today than ever, with AI becoming more prevelant in every day lives and tensions between Russia and the so-called West reaching boiling point.

I'm still working on it but hope to have it released within a month or so.

It's taken a while to figure out what kind of content is the most creatively fulfilling for me. Let's Plays and livestreams are not authentically me, so I don't think you'll see anything like that on this channel going forward.

I'm also going to be looking into YouTube's podcast feature so we can have a platform to talk about new point and clicks and story-driven games. As much as I'd love to dedicate more time to lesser known titles, there has to be some balance with the ROI. A podcast provides a great opportunity to do that in a more relaxed setting without worrying about everything that goes into a video.

Also, once the final Tall Tale is out I'll create my Legend of Monkey Island video, I've held off from playing until everything is out. I simply cannot wait to walk out from under the arch and head into melee town in 3D proper.
