Ven. Lama Lobzang in his new 'avatar'. Together with us all, in life as well as in death! The Governing Body of Asoka Mission met this morning to elect a new President. After a discussion, the members were unanimous that the tallest candidate for the post was Ka Thupstan Chewang, who has lived his life for the welfare of Ladakh, and also has a keen interest in Asoka Mission and its noble activities.
A General Body meeting followed soon thereafter and confirmed the election of Ka Thupstan as Asoka Mission's President’’.
