Hello lovely people, I know I’ve been absent from YouTube for the past few months. I’ve been struggling with my health more than usual so I’ve been resting and working on my fundraiser. I hope one day that I will not have to spend months at a time in bed. I do have a few exciting things to share:

Firstly, I had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed on Rogers TV about my life with CRPS! I’m so grateful that I can spread awareness about this debilitating disease. There is not nearly enough research being done and as a result there are very few effective treatment options. I want to live in a world where people with rare diseases don’t need to crowdfund and travel to different countries to receive life saving treatment.

Secondly, speaking of fundraising, my GoFundMe is almost at 10k! I am so grateful to every single person who has supported me by donating and sharing. It’s hard for me to find adequate words to thank you all. You are helping to save my life, there is no greater gift I could receive.

“No matter how much you want to give up, don’t. You have to have hope.”

This costume has been three years in the making. I made a bit of progress on it each year but got too sick to finish it or wear it for Halloween. I thought I’d never get to wear it, but here I am!

Fallout 4 is such a huge part of my life. It’s an escape from my illness, giving me a huge map to explore when I’m stuck in bed and people to help when I feel helpless. The resiliency and bravery of the characters gives me hope that I can survive too. October 31st is the (15th) anniversary of when I got sick. It can be a rough day but this armour will help me get through it.

I've seen your comments and I so appreciate your concern. I've had a tough summer but I am still here!

One year ago, on this day, I was admitted to hospice. I have come so far since then, but this journey is not over. I am fundraising for lifesaving treatment so that this time next year I can be not just surviving, but thriving.
