For a long time, I thought I was behind in life.

I watched my friends settle down.
Engagements. Weddings. Babies.

And every time I opened social media, it felt like the world was reminding me of what I didn’t have.

People would ask questions.

“Why are you still single?”
“You’re not getting younger.”
“Don’t be too picky.”

So I started questioning myself.

Maybe I was too patient.
Maybe my standards were too high.
Maybe I just needed to try harder.

But the more I chased relationships, the more exhausted my heart became.

Because when you are searching for love without guidance… you can easily mistake attachment for love, attention for care, and desperation for compatibility.

Then one day, I realized something that changed everything:

Peace didn’t come when I found someone.
Peace came when I chose Allah first.

When I stopped chasing timelines.
When I stopped comparing my life to others.
When I stopped trying to force what Allah had not written yet.

That shift changed how I see relationships, love, patience, and marriage.

And that is why I wrote this book.
