multiple people have reached out to me to ask if i know any information regarding unknowingly’s current status.

i am, unfortunately, just as in the dark as any of you are. i have been searching for any information that might prove useful, but have so far come up empty. i do not know any identifying information. i do not know anyone who knows him in real life.

this is unfortunately a pattern that unknowingly has exhibited before. i can only hope that, much like other times, he has turned up safe, though with how much time has passed with no updates, my concern only continues to grow.

unknowingly is more than a collaborator to me. he is a friend, and i ask anyone concerned stays patient. please do not spam me at this time. i am already worried enough about my friend. i do not wish to feel responsible for his whereabouts. i am utterly helpless in this situation.

Not publically using X the Everything App is really embarrassing for me because it renders me unable to respond to things like this when they appear 🤷 But I figured addressing this somewhere was necessary because of the fact that it effects people who aren’t just me, lol

Over a year ago, I showcased the trailer/kickstarter page for Piñata Puppy World on a charity event I was hosting. This was ENTIRELY my decision and had nothing to do with the team behind that game (a team I was not apart of at the time). While I absolutely agree with the fact that the event certainly wasn’t the best place to announce a crowdfunding project, my intention was to showcase the game so that we could give incentives to donate to the stream, so if anyone was actually interested in the project, we would reveal new content for the game, and sell stickers of the characters for charity. I showed the trailer and linked the kickstarter because it was the most comprehensive source of information about the game. I was NOT trying to get people to donate INSTEAD of the charity stream, though in hindsight, the intention didn’t matter; it was still a bad decision.

This decision was also extremely last minute. I understand criticism that I “didn’t inform anyone on stream beforehand”, and I absolutely would have if I knew this was going to happen myself. During the event I was scrabbling for things to showcase because I felt I just didn’t have enough. I was desperate to find incentives to donate. The event was extremely disorganized in general, partially because I’m just a very anxious and disorganized person in general, but also because I was SIXTEEN! I was more concerned with begging my parents to let me stay home from school so I could raise money in the first place.

TL;DR I made an extremely misguided decision because I didn’t know shit about hosting a charity event, let alone one that lasted for four days straight, one that I ABSOLUTELY disagree with in modern day. However this was MY decision, not anyone on the team for PPW. Are there actual reasons to criticize this project? Sure, but please don’t spread information about how this team “funneled people into donating to their game” because that genuinely isn’t true in the slightest. I made a bad decision when I was 16 when I had zero ties to the project, and have since strayed away from trying to host charity events because I KNOW I’m bad at them
