powerless is overrated. OK SO BEFORE YOU JUMP ME im not saying its bad or anything i read the book and really liked it BUT there’s people saying its the best piece of literature and its the best fantasy romance like NO ITS NOT😭😭 not only is it clearly a red queen copy (though i will say it gets less similar as the trilogy goes on) it just doesnt bring us anything new yk?? royal x poor person who steals for a living, marketing a book as enemies to lovers when he wants her since page one, a whole bunch of tropes mixed into one book… its not necessarily bad ok istg i love powerless ok pae is hot af and kai is a little generic but still an icon its just that there’s other books that deserve the same hype and they arent getting it😭😭

but thats it for rant ty also if you love powerless tell me why you think its the best piece of literature bc idk i like friendly arguing with ppl about books
